This is a fabulous book. My attitude towards eating is that you need to find a lifestyle way of eating in which you are regularly making modifications to the way most others eat. This book encourages eating whole, clean foods and while there are some things that are processed they are not enhanced by un-natural chemicals and additives. I strongly recommend for everyone to pick up this book and use it's valuable information on a daily basis. It is not ground breaking information but it is laid out well and quite inspirational.
"Okay," says Tosca. "I have to admit it. The Eat-Clean Diet isn't really a
diet at all. In fact, people are always amazed at the variety and quantity of food I eat!"
Eating Clean is not about deprivation. It's not about giving up one food group or another. Eating Clean is about giving your body what it needs to thrive.
Exercise Tip
Have you thought of adding light hand weights to some of your favorite yoga moves? While I find traditional yoga so relaxing and gratifying...I also love to combine different workout styles together to shake things up. Why not put yourself into warrior pose and add bicep curls or lateral raises. Stand in tree and as you lift one leg up the side of the other leg, add a front raise or upright row. I know you can be creative with this and with just small weights you can put a safe variation into your workout.
